How to Approach a Dream Gently
How to Approach a Dream Gently
The Kunstverein Braunschweig is pleased to present the works of this year’s Meisterschüler_innen of the Hochschule für Bildende Künste Braunschweig (HBK). Already for the sixth time, the Kunstverein makes ists entire premises available to showcase the quality and diversity of artistic production. The media spectrum of the 20 international artists represented in the exhibition ranges from painting and photography to video and installation.
The title How to Approach a Dream Gently tells of thoughts and feelings that often find no space in everyday life, and of dreams as memories that can sometimes be uninvited. Dreams are like creatures that can be gently touched and captured, awakening in us the desire to get closer to them and understand them. But in the end, their sharpest contours remain fleeting.
