Kunstverein Braunschweig defines itself as a place for a vivid dialogue on contemporary art. Our guided tours and workshops for pupils and students do not focus on frontal conveyance of knowledge. They are rather concerned with awaking an interest in contemporary art because it is by no means as incomprehensible and out of touch as occasionally assumed.
We developed formats for guided tours and workshop programmes for all the exhibitions in collaboration with students from the HBK Braunschweig based on the respective curricula or can gladly be individually arranged to suit your lesson plan. The pupils can deal creatively and reflectively with works from the exhibition and develop a sensitivity for contemporary art in doing so.
Our educational programme is not only directed at art classes but also, depending on the current exhibition, to a wide varieties of subjects and groups as well.
