The Braunschweigische Stiftung‘s scholarship holders of the 2021 edition, Lino Heissenberg and Saskia Siebe, have completed their work. The artists' results will be presented in the Remise of the Kunstverein Braunschweig from 15.06. to 19.06.2022.

Lino Heissenberg, IDEE scholarship holder, (*1991) works and researches primarily in the field of video and digital/interactive media, exploring various techniques of narration, engaging with digital nerd and subcultures, and relating objects, information and stories of different origins to each other and to new contexts. In 2016, he completed his studies at the HBK Braunschweig as a master student of Candice Breitz and has been living and working in Braunschweig ever since. With his films oo-nye-doo? and SYMPTOMS he was represented at several national and international film festivals.

Saskia Siebe, ABDRUCK scholarship holder, (*1983 in Ciudad de México) dedicates her artistic practice to places of memory. These are real places that change in the remembered contemplation and appear in different versions in her art. Variations also arise through various techniques and materials in which the motifs are elaborated. Saskia Siebe trained as a mosaicist at the Scuola Mosaicista del Friuli in Italy and at the Escola Massana in Barcelona before studying painting at the HBK Braunschweig from 2013. In 2020 she graduated as a master student, she lives and works in Braunschweig.

All events and the visit to the exhibition are free of charge. The workshops will take place at the Kunstverein. Please note that the hygiene and safety regulations then in force.
